Food is central to our lives, making it essential to invest time in understanding it. This includes learning about various food items, vitamins, and nutrients, enjoying the process of cooking, and most importantly, embracing food rather than avoiding it.
There are no inherently good or bad foods, but there are foods that can help us feel better. Some foods can boost our energy levels, improve health conditions, and promote overall well-being. However, it's crucial to learn how to balance and manage certain food items to minimise the risk of exacerbating or developing health issues such as anxiety, migraines, and weight gain. This balance varies for each individual and their unique health conditions.
It’s your responsibility to prioritise your body's needs, treating it well by understanding what it requires to function optimally. At Nutrition First, I offer one-to-one nutrition therapy and coaching to help you achieve your goals safely and effectively. I currently run these sessions privately for businesses, delivering tailored programmes that boost energy, productivity, and overall health in the workplace.
